This week program offers an opportunity for a full spectrum mind, body, and spirit renewal and recalibration in the heart of the rainforest. Sankalpa is a sanskrit word that means manifestation of your innermost will. In this spirt, we offer a synergy of ancient principles and modern science sculpted to rebirth your truest essence. Participants have the opportunity to embark on a deeply personal journey in a supportive group setting with the assistance of specific detoxificaltion therapies, indigenous medicine practices, and guest healers. The experience of the week is complemented by delicious meals that are deeply detoxifying and balancing, in addition to being seasonal, local, and as organic as possible.
Optional activities include daily yoga and meditation classes, hikes to waterfall and swimming holes in the Eco Era Reserve, trips to the nearby beach and national park, ayurveda rejuvenation treatments, and rainforest adventure activities such as zip-lining, horse-back riding and river rafting. And of course- there is lots of solo time for reflection and relaxation within the beautiful grounds of Posada Natura, amidst the gardens and overlooking the Naranjo river.

About the Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Session:
The Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Session assists in deeply detoxifying, invigorating, and nourishing the body, mind, and spirit. By the end of these sessions one is inspired to a state of deep equilibrium and tranquility. It begins with a 1 hr ayurvedic oil massage facilitated by an experienced practitioner. Following the massage the guest receives a relaxing steam session to further cleanse the body through the channels of the skin, our largest organ. The finale of the session is the shirodhara therapy. This entails warm medicinal oil being poured continuously on the 3rd eye of the forehead for 20 minutes. This therapy has reputable benefits of balancing the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems and inducing a state of deep relaxation.
About the Traditional Amazonian Medicine Ceremony
Yaje or ayahuasca is a traditional medicine originating from the Amazon basin that is considered to be a sacred plant sacrament to many due to its profound effects of offering a unique encounter with oneself. A door opens for deep healing to take place on all levels of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. Insight may also be gained into one’s life about relationships, habits, the past, and direction for the future. On a physical level, it is deeply detoxifying on a cellular level causing the body to purge blockages of all kinds. Ceremonies are facilitated in the Colombian Kamsa indigenous tradition.
