Coming to Us via Road

From the airport you will head south west through the center of the country before dropping down the hills onto the pacific coast. A highlight of the trip is passing through the fruit stands in the well known town of Orotina. Whether you are driving yourself or in a taxi, be sure to stop, drink a coconut and eat the freshest fruit in season. While driving down the coast, keep your eyes peeled for sloths, monkeys, and the stunning scarlet macaws.

Via Taxi

  • We can arrange your pick-up from the airport with one of our trusted drivers who will take you directly to us.

Via Rental Car

  • - The trickiest part of the drive is getting from the rental car location to the main highway. Be sure to ask detailed instructions from the rental car store or invest a little extra with the very effective GPS gadgets that you can get there. Let us know if you want to rent a car as we can get you a better deals with our contacts and we will send you very detailed driving directions. If you decide to rent a car we highly recommend-
  • Don’t drive at night
  • Be aware that signs directions on the road are pretty bad
  • Lock your car at all times and do not leave valuables visible

Via Plane

This is by far the quickest route. It is a fast 15 minutes on a small plane to our nearby airport of Quepos. From there, Posada Natura is just another 15 minutes east of the airport. If you are visiting us in high-season it is important to get your tickets in advance as the flights often sell out. The airlines that we recommend are Sansa (www.flysansa.com) (506) 2221-9414 and Natura Air (www.natureair.com) +(506) 2220-3054. Note- If you are coming by yourself or with just one other person it is often times cheaper to fly then to rent a taxi or car. Though be aware that both these airlines charge for overweight baggage so check their websites for their latest policies so that you’re not surprised!
